Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Monday claimed to have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered 520kgs of hashish from his possession. According to details, the team headed by SSP Muhammad Fayyaz Khan on a tip-off raided at Dad Goth, Malir Saudabad and arrested a notorious drug peddler namely Muhammad Aamir son of Muhamamd Ishaq and recovered 520kgs of hashish from his possession.
However, the ringleader of the gang namely Fareed Baloch managed to flee from the spot. The detained person during initial course of investigation revealed that the gang comprising 12 criminals was involved in supplying the narcotics to several dens. Further investigation is underway.
