Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior leader Muhammad Pervaiz Malik Tuesday said gas load-shedding is badly affecting industrial sector growth and will leave a negative impact on the overall economy of the country. Talking to Business Recorder, Malik said that wheel of the industry has halted due to worst gas load-shedding in Faisalabad and other industrial areas as a result of which poor workers have been deprived of livelihood and they have taken to streets.
He said that there is also possibility of cancellation of export orders of billion of rupees due to load-shedding. He further said that bad governance of PPP-led government has brought the country to the verge of disaster, price-hike and unemployment apart from making the life of the people miserable. Had PPP government implemented guidelines given by the PML-N President, it would not have to face present situation, he added. He said that the PML-N gave positive and practical suggestions to the government, but instead of implementing the same, the government did not pay any attention to it. He said the national institutions have been ruined and new tales of corruption are coming to the fore daily.
Malik said the PML-N leadership is determined to put the country on the road to progress by steering it out of crises. "Today every patriotic Pakistani is looking towards Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif for bringing the country out of crises and putting it on the road to progress," he said.
He was of the view that a respectable status in the comity of nations can never be achieved without breaking the begging bowl. He said that service to the masses is mission of PML-N and all resources of the province are being utilised for the welfare of the people. He said Pakistan Muslim League-N is committed to play leading role for making Pakistan a dignified, independent and prosperous country in real sense.
The PML-N leader said that political parties are symbol of national unity and solidarity but unfortunately the dictators in Pakistan played the game of dividing political parties, occupying their offices, depriving them from their leadership and formed the parties of their choice as a result of which not only democratic process was damaged but national unity and solidarity were also put at stake.
