The Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh Aajiz Dhamrah along with Provincial Co-ordinator for Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBYDP) Karam Bux Siddiqui held meeting with the Vice Chancellor Liaquat University for Medical Health and Science (LUMHS) Jamshoro on Tuesday at his Jamshoro office to discuss the academic and financial matters, specially of nursing courses.
During the meeting, he on the management of BBYDP, offered full sponsorship for all 60 seats of 4 years course of B.Sc. Nursing Generic. After threadbare discussion in the meeting, it was decided that MoU for this sponsorship would be signed shortly.
Talking on the occasion, Dhamrah said that the motto of PPP government was to provide maximum job opportunity to the youths to bring revolutionary change in the socio-economic condition of the country. He said that a large number of youths were getting training for this skill development under BBYDP and a good number of these trained youths were being absorbed in various fields. He said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was giving top priority to BBYDP and was personally monitoring the proceedings and its output.
The Provincial Co-ordinator for BBYDP Karam Bux Siddiqui while highlighting programme, informed that as many as 1,37,000 youths have completed their skill development courses in 386 different fields and 89 employment sectors. He said that at present 34,000 youths were getting training for their skill development in different field, while 22,000 new candidates would be inducted in the system from January 2012.
