There is dire need for adopting fuel saving measures both in the public and private sectors in the country on priority basis in view of lingering petrol and CNG shortages and frequent hike in POL prices.
This was stated by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Future Technologies, a Lahore based concern promoting latest technological development and innovation-based products, Shoaib Ashfaq Qureshi while addressing the guests at the closing of fuel saving, environment friendly and economical innovative gadget Panther display at the Toyota Ravi Motors showroom on Multan Road.
The display of innovative equipment continued for more than a fortnight during which the visitors in general and motorists in particular were also distributed leaflets containing useful information in order to motivate them to use fuel saving equipments in their vehicles to offset the impact of frequent POL price hike to a great extent by saving 25 per cent of fuel with more mileage and power.
He said that the gadget is Japanese technology based product, which has been tested and used in many foreign countries and now being marketed for the first time in Pakistan by his concern as a product which saves fuel, is environment friendly and also economical.
He maintained that use of the gadget would surely help the user motorists to economise on the use of Petrol and CNG in their vehicles and lessen financial burden on their pockets owing to the POL products price hike every now and then.
Shoaib said as a matter of fact maximum use of the fuel saving equipment in the vehicles has become essential in view of the prevailing circumstances and should be adopted by the Federal and Provincial Governments on priority basis, as a major fuel saving measure and also by the private sector mainly the businessmen and industrialists who have to travel around a lot.
In response to queries from the guests, he said that more such displays of fuel saving gadget would be held for the benefit of the motorists in Lahore and Islamabad in the coming weeks, as part of the public awareness campaign. The guests including a number of industrialists and businessmen as well as people from different walks of life thanked the Future Technologies for providing them useful information about fuel saving gadget.
