Dr Mubasher Jamil, a faculty member at Centre for Advanced Mathematics and Physics (CAMP), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has been awarded Dr Raziuddin Siddiqui Prize for Mathematics 2011 on December 10, 2011 at Pakistan Academy of Sciences by Dr Atta-ur-Rehman. The prize is awarded quadrennial in a particular discipline to acknowledge the contribution of young researchers.
Dr Jamil has recently published a book titled "Black Holes in an Accelerated Universe" with Lambart Academic Publications, Germany, 2011. The book is available on amazon.com and other online sites. Dr Jamil completed his PhD in Mathematics in December 2010 from NUST. At a young age of 30 years, he has already published 74 papers in institute of Scientific information (ISI) journals with cumulative impact factor of 138.
He is also a reviewer of two Springer (USA) journals and one Institute of Physics (IoP-UK) Journal. He has collaborated with more than thirty researchers from USA, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Italy, Greece, Finland, India and Iran. In February 2012, he will be visiting Eurasian National University, Astana, Kazakhstan as a visiting professor.-PR
