Well-educated, dedicated and devoted teachers contribute significantly towards making a nation great and strong. They produce and groom future leaders, scientists, engineers, doctors and other professionals. This was stated by Mian Muhammad Hanif, Chairman Board of Governors of The University of Faisalabad (TUF), while addressing a joint meeting of Deans, Heads and Faculty members of different Schools of TUF.
He said that Teachers are the nation builders. Teachers carry a heavy responsibility on their shoulders and obligation towards the nation, he added. Mian Muhammad Hanif further said that TUF is going to launch a "Professional Competency Enhancement Programme" for the training/ capacity building of faculty members from January 2012 in both the campuses of the University.
The programme will cover the areas of Teaching Methodologies, Time Management, Stress Management, Lesson Planning, Education Psychology, Personality Development, Testing and Assessment, Implementation of Semesters System (Maintenance of Course Files Marking Schemes, Paper Setting Standards) and other relevant areas.
