When I was a child, my parents told me that you are lucky to have electricity to study, because, at that time we studied in lantern light at home, or under the street lamp. I said 'really'? The parents said yes. It was in the early 60s. Now, our children are back in the past again, because, we have neither electricity nor gas. We also have a shortage of clean drinking water.
In future, when our kids will have their own family, they will tell them that we had a tough time in the 21st century. We had no electricity, no gas and no water while for three days the CNG stations remained closed due to gas shortages. This is our lovely, modernised and democratic Pakistan.
