The Advanced Studies and Research Board, University of Sindh on Monday in its 112 meeting announced to award 10 Ph.D and 10 M.Phil degrees to research scholars in various disciplines.
The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Professor Dr Nazir A.Mughal, which was attended by Pro Vice Chancellors Dr Parveen Shah, Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Dr Anwar Ali Shah and Dr Imdad Ali Ismaili, Deans of various faculties, members of the Advacned Studies and Research Board Dr Abida Tahrani, Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Dr Raja Muhammad Ilyas, Registrar Akhtar Ahmed Memon, Controller of Examinations Muhammad Nawaz Narejo, Acting Dean Research Dr Muhammad Raees Ahmed and Director Innovation, Research and Commercialisation Dr Parvez Pathan and others.
The meeting approved to award Ph.D degrees to research scholars namely Abdul Qadir Syed, Abdul Rauf Khaskheli, Imam Bux Solangi, Muhammad Afzal Kamboh, Imdadullah, Nusrat Naeem Memon and Syeda Birjees Bukhari in Analytical Chemistry, Habibullah Abassi in Environmental Sciences, Nadir Ali Birmanai and Saira Baloch in Zoology.
The meeting also approved to award M.Phil degrees to Mufti Muhammad Sahibdad Pitafi in Arabic, Abdul Salam Aadil in Urdu, Dilshad Khowaja and Roshan Ali Mugheri in Education, Bushra Anny Dars in Freshwater Biology and Fisheries, Zeshan Bhatti in Information Technology, Mukhtiar Ahmed Channa and Muhammad Younsi Jogi in Zoology, Muhammad Ishaq Bajoi in Economics and Jamshed Ali Baloch in Political Science.
