A four-day annual Inter House Sports activity was inaugurated Tuesday in Islamabad College for Boys (ICB) G-6, in which excited student actively participation. On the occasion, ICB Principal Professor Anwar Ali Khan emphasised the importance of nexus between physical and mental development terming extra-curricular activities source of confidence building among students, which he said do away with their hesitation to be more vibrant socially.
During first day, Professor Nadeem Rafi oversaw the cricket and basketball matches. The cricket championship (junior) was won by the Qauid-e-Azam House while Sir Syed House remained runner-up. Basketball championship (senior) was won by Iqbal House and Quid-e-Azam House was runner up. In cricket championship Zeeshan and Muhmmad Ayub gave stunning performance and Shabaz Abbasi won Man of the Tournament award in Basketball.
