PPP Senator, Islamuddin Shaikh said the assassins of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto will not be spared at any cost and her mission for the rights of the poor will be completed in all respects. Talking to APP on Monday, he said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed was the voice of poor people and she wanted eradication of terrorism, and restoration of democracy in the country.
Paying rich tribute to Benazir Bhutto, he said that she was martyred for the nation and gave sacrifice of her life adding that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto became victim of 'undemocratic forces' on December 27, 2007 and this day would be remembered as the darkest day in the political history of Pakistan.
He said the assassination of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was a conspiracy against democracy, the country and the people of Pakistan.
He said that Benazir Bhutto Shaheed was the symbol of the federation and national unity, and we should follow the philosophy and ideology of Shaheed Bibi to overcome current challenges faced by the country.
