Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif has decided to convene 'emergency conference' on January 31 in federal capital to find ways out to deal with the prevailing energy crisis. According to PML-N central media office, the conference will attend by experts in energy sector and representatives of industries as well as consumers.
"The conference will devise an emergency road-map", said the statement, adding that it will be made obligatory on the government to ensure implementation on recommendations of the conference. The conference has been convened at the time when the country is witnessing massive protest demonstrations against hike in gas tariff and the government decision to impose ban of filling CNG in commercial vehicles.
