Crime Investigation Agency of Sindh Police on Tuesday claimed to arrested five suspects allegedly involved in several robberies in Superhighway area. According to CIA officials, the suspects were identified as Yar Mohammad, Ameer Hamza, Abdul Majeed, Bilal and Feroz. Police also claimed to have recovered two Kalashnikovs and five TT pistols from their possessions.
They said these suspects were arrested after brief encounter near Super Market in Sohrab Goth. They said these suspects were involved in several robberies at Super Highway area. Moreover, they said the detained persons during initial course of interrogation confessed to have involved over a dozen robberies. A case was registered and further investigation was underway.
