Pakistan's Ambassador-designate to the United States, Sherry Rehman called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday and discussed matters pertaining to her diplomatic assignments in US. Sherry Rehman, who is all set to leave for the US to assume her diplomatic assignment there, sought guidance from the prime minister.
The prime minister said that she should espouse the cause of Pakistan's diplomatic interests in US keeping in view the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security to be adopted by the Parliament. The Prime Minister expressed his full confidence in her and added that she would prove herself worthy of the challenging assignment.-PR
