Higher trend amid slow trade on grain market

Slow business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday amid balanced demand and supply position from upcountry centres, dealers said. On the cereal side masoor Canada low type gained Rs 300 to Rs 4800 while the best quality retained the overnight level at Rs 5000, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type gained Rs 100 to Rs 800 and better quality was up by Rs 25 to Rs 850, they said.
Prices on rice and grams sectors did not show any change in process of trading, they said.
