Crime Investigation Department (CID), Sindh Police on Saturday claimed to have killed a chief of Tehrik Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan and arrested his other accomplice during a raid in the limits of Sharea Faisal police station. According to details, a team headed by SSP Fayyaz Khan on a tip-off conducted raid near Rasheed Minhas road.
Reacting on the said action, the suspects, who were hiding in this area, opened indiscriminate gunshots on CID team, leaving two security personnel namely Arshad and Wajid injured. On retaliation, the chief TTP Balochistan namely Syed Yasin Shah alias Saain alias Asghar Baloch son of Faqeerullah killed while his other accomplice Syed Yar Shan arrested. The CID team has also recovered 2 grenades, one 9MM pistol, one TT pistol, snatched car and several rounds from them.
SSP Fayyaz said the deceased Yasin belonged to TTP and was nominated as chief Balochistan by Qari Shakeel and added that he came to Karachi on the directives of Qari Shakeel to flare up terrorist activities in the city. Moreover, he said the slain chief TTP, Balochistan was involved in several heinous crimes including targeted killings, mobile franchises attacks, grenade attacks, etc.
