Divisional Model College (DMC) Faisalabad organised an annual bright award distribution ceremony on Saturday. Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain distributed cash awards and certificates among the intelligent and hardworking teaching staff of the college. Principal Professor Saleem Aaza highlighted the achievements of DMC in his welcome address.
The divisional commissioner said that the brilliant students were source of inspiration for other students. He further said that intelligent young scholars who secured positions in different academic activities also played an important role in the development of national economy.
He appreciated the efforts of students and academic staff who achieved the cash awards and merit certificate for their best performance during the academic year 2011-12. Principal DMC informed the audience that 126 male and female students and 40 teaching staff were awarded in bright award ceremony. Principal DPS Shahid Mehmud, Director Development Adnan Arshid Aulakh, students and their parents also attended the ceremony.
