The SKM Tigers Club of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) is organising the 17th birthday of the Hospital on January 17, 2012. According to the SKMCH spokesman, eminent singer Abrar-ul-Haq will be the special guest on this occasion.
A birthday card competition has also been arranged among the students in this connection and approximately 5,000 entries have been received from 126 different schools from all over Pakistan. Hospital birthday events are going to be organised in Karachi and Islamabad as well on January 26 and 30, 2012 respectively. In both these events, hundreds of students from different schools will participate where the winners of the competition will be awarded certificates and shields by the Hospital management.
