Second spell of rains from today

Director Meteorological Department, Muhammad Hanif said that second spell of winter rains had entered in the country as more rains, snow fall is expected in the country during next 48 hours. Talking to PTV on Friday, he said all the plain areas of Punjab were in the grip of dense fog and extreme cold, and this wave would continue.
Hanif said that extreme weather situation would prevail in Northern and Upper Areas and Balochistan and heavy rain was predicted in Quetta during next 24 hours. He said there would be heavy snowfall (around 1-2 feet) in Murree-Guliyat during next 48 hours, adding that in Northern Areas flights schedule would be disturbed due to heavy snow fall.
