Senior Leader Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi said on Friday that his party would decide to support or oppose the resolution tabled in NA, after getting legal opinion.
Talking to media outside the parliament, he said, the resolution tabled in National Assembly was for strengthening democracy. However, "decision to oppose or support it, will be made after obtaining legal expert's opinion." He welcomed the Prime Minister's announcement for proposing any amendment in the resolution.
To a question, he said, confrontation among the institutions will be harmful for the country. "We have asked the government to avoid confrontation with institutions as it will be harmful for the country." He said the democracy and dialogue are the best way to solve the problems.
