Prevention and Control Programme of Epidemics: Punjab government approves 1818 posts in various grades
The Punjab government has granted approval to 1818 posts of various categories in grade one to grade 19 in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad Gujranwala and Multan under Prevention and Conntrol Programme of Epidemics. Punjab Health Secretary Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan told this in a meeting here on Wednesday, disclosed an official.
He also said these vacancies include the posts of Additional Director General Vector Borne, Manager Operation, Manager Partnership, Manager Enforcement, Manager Training, Entomologist, Assistant Entomologist, Data Entry Operator, CDC Supervisors, Lady Health Workers, Sanitary Patrol, Inspector Environment and Accountant.
Secretary Health further said under viral Prevention and Control Programme of Epidemics approval has been given to 836 posts of different categories in Lahore district, 235 in Rawalpindi, 170 in Multan, 347 in Faisalabad and 198 in Gujranwala. "Moreover, a district co-ordination unit will also be set up in each of the five districts for which five posts of District Programme Co-ordinator, Senior Entomologist, Senior Statistical Officer, Computer Operator and Accountant have been created for each district," he added.
According to him, under this programme at the provincial level one post of Additional Director General Vector Borne, Manager Operation, Manager Partnership, Manager Enforcement, Manager Training, Manager ICT and Accountant have also been approved. Instructions have also been issued for initiating recruitment process for filling the aforementioned posts in the districts concerned.
