Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan has said that Supreme Court could neither validate NRO simply because of Prime Minister Gilani's appearance nor the memo gate scandal could be ignored. Talking to media at Mansoora on Friday, he said that the Prime Minister was under the impression that he had created history by appearing before the apex court and this had relieved him from all the problems and worries being faced by the nation, but he was mistaken.
He said the industrialists as well as industrial workers were protesting against prolonged load shedding of electricity and gas, while the poor and the unemployed workers were unable to make both ends meet due to price hike. The federal government was giving step-motherly treatment to the Punjab province where industrial units and factories had been closed for a month due to suspension of gas, he added.
Meanwhile, addressing Friday congregation at Mansoora mosque, he said that the lackeys of the US were ready to compromise the country's existence and dignity by restoring Nato supplies. He said, Nato had met a humiliating defeat in Afghanistan. Nato soldiers in Afghanistan had run short of pampers which had compelled the US to appeal for restoration of supplies. He however warned that the restoration of Nato supplies would endanger Pakistan's nuclear assets as well its sovereignty.
JI Ameer said that the Afghan's only fault was that they had enforced Islamic order in their country which brought total peace in their country and eliminated narcotics. He said the world at large could not digest the enforcement of the Islamic system and a plot was hatched for the US attack on Afghanistan. Nevertheless, he said, Afghans were still alive due to Jihad whereas the US was on the way to destruction.
Munawar said that a tussle was going on between the Islamic movements and the satanic forces all over the world. The Infidels wanted an Islam sans Jihad and also a moral-free society. Islam, on the other hand, stood for collective justice and inculcated in the individual a sense of accountability before Allah which prevented him from doing injustice to fellow beings.
The west, he said, did not have the force of argument in support of its system whereas Islam was based on sound reasoning and also provided solution to all human problems. The net result was that the west was now trying to thrust its devilish civilisation on the humanity by brute force. However, he said, all its plans would fail completely.
