Drug Enforcement Cell (DEC) of Pakistan Custom on Friday claimed to have seized two kilograms of heroin at Jinnah International Airport. According to a statement issued by custom authority, the staff of DEC on the instruction of Deputy Collector Naveed Dost Chandio kept strict vigilance that led to have recovered two kilograms of heroin powder from a passenger namely Muhammad Tariq, who was leaving for Dhaka by Bangladesh Airline's (BG- 32).
Heroin was articulately concealed at the rear of 24 inch LCD TV "Ecostar". Consequent upon recovery and seizure of heroin powder, the accused was arrested and a prosecution case was registered against him. Further investigation was under way.-PR
