Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences organised a seminar on "Importance of Agriculture Extension in Agriculture Sector", here at the institute on Thursday. EDO Agriculture Extension, Syed Muhammad Zakiria delivered a presentation. District officers of Agriculture Extension, Livestock, Fisheries, Forest and Water Management were also present on the occasion.
The seminar was very fruitful and informative for the faculty members, students and other participants, providing the information on various aspects of dissemination of knowledge, methods of pouring down the information from the expert to the farmers end via these different linkages and also getting the feed back of problems from the farmers to the scientists.-PR
