Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Pakistan has awarded certificates to its 37 high achievers here on Thursday. Presiding over the ceremony held at local hotel here, Tabish Gohar, CEO, Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) lauded the efforts made by the ACCA Pakistan to polish the skills of youth.
He described integrity and passion as major characteristics for the leaders, advising participates to play their due role for the betterment of the society. Moreover, he said there is no shortcut in professional life, as hard luck could only be overcome through hard work.
Earlier, Arif Mehmood Mirza, head ACCA Pakistan while congratulating the successful students said that ACCA's mission is to provide quality professional opportunities to the people of ability and application, lead in the development of the global accountancy profession, promote the highest ethical and governance standards, work in the public interest, and be a leader in the knowledge-based profession of the 21st century.
