The gesture and voice control system Kinect will be available for Windows computers starting on February 1, Microsoft said at the CES. As opposed to Kinect for the Xbox 360, there are no plans for games as the technology is more intended for serious usage in this case.
The camera and microphone unit costs 249 dollars in the United States, much more than the Xbox version. A European price is not yet set.
