USC to open 2,000 new stores

Utility Stores Corporation (USC) decided to add 2,000 new stores in its network across the country to provide maximum relief to the people especially poor segment of the society. "We have a plan to open mega stores and out of 2,000 new stores, maximum number would be of mega and super market stores", USC Managing Director Major General (Retd) Malik Muhammad Farooq said while inaugurating the Super market store in Karachi Zone.
The MD USC said items and varieties in the stores would be increased to ensure maximum relief to the common man under one roof, said a statement received here on Monday. He said Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi wanted to make the Corporation an exemplary institution and he would put all efforts to implement the Senior Minister's orders.
