The Islamabad Police have arrested a servant for looting the family and also held six others for their involvement in murder, drug-pushing and carrying illegal weapons, recovering jewellery, cell phones, a stolen car, three bottles of liquor and a 30-bore pistol from their possession.
According to details, Dr Muhammad Shafique of F-10/2 lodge a complaint with the Shalimar Police Station on January 9 that his house servant Sajjad Ahmad informed him about three dacoits entered the house. Sajjad Ahmad also told his master that dacoits snatched jewellery from him and fled from there. The police registered a case and started investigation.
SHO Shalimar Police Station Inspector Rasheed Ahmad Niazi and ASI Muhammad Akram suspected the story of house servant and arrested him to investigate for the crime. During investigation, he confessed the crime and told the police that he created drama to cover the crime. The police have recovered the stolen jewellery worth millions of rupees from his possession. Similarly, the police also arrested an accused Ashfaq Faisal and recovered two mobile phones along with other valuable things from him.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam of Golra Poilce arrested two accused Tanveer Ahmad and Rasheed Ahmad for their involvement in a murder case. ASI Nasir Manzoor of Aabpara Police arrested Mushtaq Masih during patrolling and seized three bottles of wine from him.
ASI Muhammad Nawaz of Bahara Kahu police arrested Khayam Khan and seized a 30- bore pistol from him along with three live rounds. ASI Muhammad Sadiq of Aabpara Police recovered a stolen car (NX-225). ASI Muhammad Arif of Sabzi Mandi Police arrested an absconder Rizwan Shahzad of Rawalpindi. Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Ameen Khan and SSP Islamabad appreciated performance of the police personnel and directed them to continue action against criminals.
