LHC issues show cause notice to Transport Secretary

The Lahore High Court (LHC) issued show cause notice to Secretary Transport Punjab for not replying the repeated court notices in a petition of a widow Rafit Nazir, praying court's directions for payment of pension and others due.
The petitioner contended that respondent were not paying eight years' salaries and other dues of her husband. She approached the service tribunal which passed an order in her favour but respondent did not pay her the dues as directed by the tribunal. She therefore approached the LHC which directed the respondents to pay her all the dues within 15 days but they against ignored the court orders.
