Dr Qureshi's services for Kashmiris eulogised

Punjab University Department of Kashmir Studies organised a condolence reference in memory of Chairman Dr Muhammad Ashraf Qureshi. A large number of faculty members and students attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting, the faculty members highly eulogised the academic and research services of Dr Ashraf Qureshi and termed him as "Hero of Kashmir".
The speakers highlighted the services of Dr Qureshi in promoting Kashmiri language, literature, culture and history along with his services for Kashmir. Principal Oriental College Professor Dr Mazhar Moeen, Dean Faculty of Science Professor Dr Khawaja Haris Rasheed, Chairman Urdu Department Professor Dr Fakhar-ul-Haq Noori, President ASA Professor Dr Mahr Muhammad Saeed Akhtar, Professor Dr Moeen Nizami, founder Chairman Department of Kashmir Studies Dr S.M. Yousaf Bukhari, Professor Khalid Humayun, In Charge of Kashmir0 Studies Department Dr Nusrat Nisar, Professor Dr Zahoor Azhar and Muhammad Suleman addressed on the occasion and paid rich tributes to Dr Ashraf Qureshi.
