Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) demanded for proper facilities to exporters and passengers at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar. The issue was raised by acting SCCI president Ziaul Haq Sarhardi during a meeting with Manager Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Saqibullah here on Thursday. Other members of the delegation included Mazharul Haq, Faqeer Hussain, and Mushtaq.
The Chamber's acting President Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, while exchanging views during the meeting, pointed out different problems faced by exporters at the Bacha Khan Airport. Sarhadi stressed the need of expansion with provision of multiple facilities at Bacha Khan airport, saying that the International Airport in other parts of the country had equipped with modern facilities, but exporters and passengers are facing enormous difficulties due to lack of sufficient facilities in Peshawar airport.
