Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has condemned the recent increase in prices of medicines and demanded that it should be reversed immediately. PTI Lahore Chapter leaders, including President Lahore Mahmood-ur-Rasheed and Vice President Zaheer Abbas Khokar, termed the price increase as anti-people step.
They said the people were already facing hardship due to skyrocketing inflation and unemployment and now government had added more worries by increasing the price of medicines. "The irony is that the government continues to claim that they are working for the welfare of the people. Both the PPP and PML-N are too concern with retaining power rather than rescuing common man from crises," they added.
