US soyabean prices climbed to a four-month high on Friday while wheat and corn also advanced on export demand for US grains as concerns persisted about crop production in South America. At the Chicago Board of Trade as of 10:53 am CST (1653 GMT), March soyabeans were up 11 cents at $12.69-1/4 per bushel after reaching $12.73-1/4, the highest spot price on the continuous chart since October 14, 2011.
CBOT March wheat was up 9-1/2 cents at $6.38-1/4 per bushel and March corn was up 4 cents at $6.40-1/4 a bushel. US markets will be closed on Monday for the Presidents Day holiday.
