Karachi Metro-politan Corporation will fully cooperate in the holding of Aalmi Mushaira on 22nd March in the city. This was stated by Administrator KMC Muhammad Hussain Syed while talking to a delegation of Saknan-e-Shehr-e-Quaid Mushaira Committee.
Convenor of Aalmi Mushaira Committee Azhar Abbas Hashmi, former federal minister Syed Safwanullah, Afzal Siddiqui, Saif-ur-Rehman Girami, Rizwan Siddiqui, Ali Hassan Sajid, Senior Director Muhammad Rehan Khan, Khurshid Shah and other high officials were present on this occasion.
Administer Karachi said that mushairas are part of our cultural traditions which provide the opportunity to citizens to listen and review our language and literature while promoting the language. Karachi Metropolitan Corporation will play key role in the holding of Aalmi Mushaira in the city.
Later while reviewing the arrangements for Aalmi Mushaira he issued various directives for levelling of ground at the venue of Mushaira, fumigation and arrangements for drinking water, mobile bathrooms, fire tenders and deputation of city wardens as a security measure. He said that KMC will also hold a reception in honour of the poets participated in the Aalmi Mushaira and it will provide co-operation in the publication of selected poetry presented in the Mushaira.-PR
