Citi Pakistan has partnered with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) for 'Project Change', a capacity building programme that aims to create stronger linkages between universities and industry.
Project Change looks at the way academic institutions in Pakistan are currently connecting with the industry and community, and identifies ways in which the relevance of education being imparted at these institutions can be made more effective, with a view to enhancing the earning potential of Pakistan's youth.
As part of this programme, a two-day workshop will be held with relevant stakeholders to create best practices and learn from success stories, both locally and from across the world. This programme is based on a $50,000 grant from the Citi Foundation. 'We are optimistic that this initiative will contribute positively to the development of young people by improving their employment prospects,' said Karim Seifeddine, Citi's Head of Corporate Affairs for the Middle East, Africa & Pakistan.-PR
