The Status of Industrial Police Liaison Committee (IPLC) has been restored under orders of Inspector General, Punjab Police, Haji Habib-ur-Rehman. The Regional Police Officer, Chaudhry Aftab Ahmed Cheema, has today intimated the IPLC-Chief, Syed Omer Nazar Shah, that the Letter issued by DIG (Punjab Police Headquarters) regarding suspension of IPLC stands withdrawn and the IPLC, Faisalabad, will continue functioning as per previous practice and routine to serve the Industrial/Business Community and render usual help to Faisalabad Police in curbing crimes.
Meanwhile, prominent local Industrialists and Businessmen have welcomed the restoration of the IPLC and said that this Organisation was spending large money on Security of the Citizens and Industrialists' community without any monetary help from the government and its members are effluent young industrialists and renowned businessmen.
