Cocoa butter ratios edged down in Asia this week because of declines in European prices, but demand from chocolate makers ahead of Easter helped cushion the fall, dealers said on Friday. Cocoa butter, a key ingredient for making chocolates, was offered at ratios of 1.03 to 1.08 times London futures from as high as 1.10 times last week.
A few deals were sealed at 1.05 ratios this week, dealers said.
