Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro reached his second successive final on Saturday when he defeated top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-4, 6-7 (9/11), 6-3 in the semi-finals at Marseille. World number 10 Del Potro, the 2009 US Open champion, was beaten by Roger Federer in the Rotterdam last weekend. He will tackle France's Michael Llodra, who put out Serb third seed Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 7-6 (12/10), in Sunday's final.
"It was a tough match for both of us and we were very close," said Del Potro. "I feel fortunate to have won. It's a pleasure to play against him as he never stops fighting, he is one of the top players."
