Average daily volume up by 108 percent

Following bullish activity in the regular market, average daily volumes at the futures counter also increased by 108 percent on week-on-week basis to 15 million shares. The future spreads, however declined by 91bps on week-on-week basis to 8.61 percent.
Total market''s open interest position at the futures counter increased to Rs 2.4 billion. The top-5 scrips at the futures counter holding 58 percent of the total open interest were ENGRO, FFC, NBP, FFBL and DGKC.
