Rafhan Maize products Company Limited on Monday announced that its Mehran Plant having initial corn (maize) grind capacity of 300metric tons per day is expected to start trail production by the start of third quarter of 2012. "Once our trials are successfully completed, we hope to start commercial production during the later months of third quarter of 2012, said the company in an information sent to Karachi Stock Exchange.
"Our company has strong vision to stream roll presence in all parts of the country and as such investing dollars 27.7 million to build as state of the art corn wet milling facility in Kotri to produce corn derivatives for local and export markets", it added.
