The spokes-man of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) has clarified on Saturday that there was no conversation between the President and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) on night between May 1 and 2, 2011. Referring to a statement of Mansoor Ijaz as reported in the media, the ISPR spokesman said that there was no telephone conversation between the President and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) on the night between May 1 and 2, 2011.
"The military leadership has briefed the joint session of the Parliament as well as the Abbotabad Commission on the subject matter and there was nothing more to add to it", the spokesman added.
