Services lauded: CPWB facilitates 47,123 children

Daniela Forte, Development Advisor Human Rights, European Union has lauded the efforts of Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB), Punjab for juvenile rights and welfare of destitute and neglected children. She said this while talking to CPWB Director General, Punjab, Irum Bukhari, here on Saturday.
Both exchanged views on child rights scenario in the province of Punjab. CPWB Director General informed the EU representative about the steps taken by CPWB to protect children from abuse, exploitation and neglect. Bukhari informed Daniela Forte that CPWB had facilitated 47,123 children through a wide range of services in all operational districts of Punjab.
