PPP is the largest Party of the country which represents working class, labour community at all levels and in all sectors, as working class is the real pillar of development, progress and prosperity of Pakistan. This was stated by Chief Minister Sindh and President PPP Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah while holding joint meeting with the office bearers of Sindh People's Labour Bureau and People's Unity of PIA, held at Chief Minister House here on Saturday.
He said that the services for workers rendered by Pakistan People's Party are remarkable and will be remembered for ever. Syed Qaim Ali Shah further said that the founder of PPP is Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who gave first Labour Policy in Pakistan and he always stated that workers are the spinal cord of economy of the country and they are the real builders of nation. Syed Qaim Ali Shah recalled many services for working class by the Government of PPP and assured that the interests of workers will be safeguarded.
The office bearers of People's Labour Bureau Sindh and People's Unity of PIA informed the Chief Minister Sindh that the referendum of PIA Union will be held on 9th March 2012 and People's Unity of PIA will contest for referendum and symbol of Unity is aeroplane. They informed that necessary arrangements for participation in referendum have been made. Chief Minister Sindh stressed upon workers of PIA to fully support People's Unity of PIA and uphold the symbol of Aeroplane in the referendum.
The meeting was attended by Khuwaja Muhammad Awan Central secretary-general, People's Labour Bureau Karachi, Rehmatullah Sarki President People's Labour Bureau Sindh, Liaquat Magsi, General Secretary PLB Karachi, Central President, People's Unity of PIA Moladad Khan Leghari, General Secretary Muhammad Ashraf, Bashir Channa, Rafiq Khan Amazai and Muhammad Iqbal Awan.-PR
