RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorist court (ATC) of Rawalpindi Tuesday granted the Karachi Police custody on transit remand of an accused for announcing head money of Rs 5 million on social media for suspended Senior Superintendent of Police Malir (Karachi) Rao Anwar.
The accused Saleem Jafar, who was arrested from Khyaban-e-Sir Syed area by the police on Monday, was produced before ATC Judge Suleman Baig, who granted the transit remand to the Karachi Police for producing him before the trial court there.
