A division bench of Sindh High Court on Tuesday ordered the Education Department, Sindh to issue appointment letters to 111 petitioners as Primary School Teachers (PST) within the next two months. The bench comprising Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwa and Justice Nisar Muhammad Sheikh after hearing the petition moved by Abdul Aziz Khoso and others ordered the respondents to complete all required formalities within two months and issue appointment letters to them.
The petitioners through their counsel Shoa-un-Nabi submitted that they were issued offer letters for Primary School Teachers in the year 2006-2007 after completing required formalities but they were not issued appointment letters despite lapse of more then five years. They had prayed the court to order the competent authority to issue appointment letters to them.
