Leaves of sweet basil (Tulsi) are best for the treatment of dengue fever, said Council of Herbal Physicians Pakistan Secretary General Qazi MA Khalid. He was talking to the media after a health seminar on "Dengue virus and modern research" organized by Health Pak, an NGO here on Sunday.
Research shows that sweet basil leaves have anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral qualities which also have qualities to cure all types of seasonal and malarial fever and is also beneficial for the treatment of cough, he added.
