Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Hyder Khan Hoti has said that the province could achieve economic self-sufficiency by development of its key sectors like hydel power and oil and gas besides huge mineral reserves. He was talking to MPAs during his weekly meetings at his office on Thursday.
The Chief Minister said that the proposed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company would be helpful in taking real advantage from the province's natural resources. Hoti said huge reserves of oil and gas in southern districts were the province's guarantee of prosperity. He further said that hydel power would be generated in the province under a long-term, mid-term and short-term strategy.
