The Chief Justice observed that the court never wanted to ruin the career of officers but it was also the duty of the concerned department officials to resolve issues of employees. The President NBP and Regional Chief Multan were directed by the court to appear before the bench on Thursday.
The petitioners, Muhammad Abid Qureshi and Arif Khan, were appointed against permanent posts of godown chowkidars in the NBP Multan region on January 1988 and October 1989, respectively, but their services were not regularised.
