Equities move both ways on ISE

Equities moved both ways on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 19.49 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,770.90 to 2,790.39 points. The overall turnover amounted to 291,429 shares as compared to previous volume of 223,000 shares.
Total 123 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (80) closed in positive territory, (43) closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Lafarage Pakistan Cement was 81,000 shares. The volume of Askari Bank was 42,000 shares. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 37,000 shares.
