Acknowledging sacrifices of Pakistan in war against terror, United States Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter said his country wanted talks with Pakistan to resolve all issues including Salala check post incident. In an exclusive interview to VOG, he said Washington and Islamabad should prefer negotiations regarding their mutual relations and the US was ready for talks on Salala incident and Nato supply to Afghanistan.
He said the US investors wanted to invest in Pakistan but they were looking for circumstances which were suitable for investment. He said Washington was ready to extend financial aid to Pakistan and Afghanistan for their stability. He said the US acknowledged sacrifices of Pakistan in war against terror, which was a common issue for them.
Terrorism was a core issue faced by Islamabad, Washington and Kabul, he added. He said distance in relations of both the countries must be bridged by mutual efforts. Munter said the tripartite commission had been established and it was aimed at reducing the differences among the countries and all the outstanding issues must be resolved amicably.
