Corps Commander Peshawar confers awards

Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani conferred awards upon various military officers and Shuhadas in simple and impressive ceremony held at Corps Auditorium here on Friday. Six Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), 15 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) and 38 Tamga-i-Basalat were given to officers, and relatives of Shuhadas by Government of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day for rendering meritorious services for the nation.
The awardees of Sitara-i-Imtiaz comprising Brigadier Syed Tahawar Ali Shah, Brigadier Naeem Abdul Baqi Malik, Brigadier Sajid Iqbal, Brigadier Muhammad Latif, Colonel Muhammad Naeem, Sajid Naveed while those conferred Tamgha-e-Imtiaz Colonel Syed Arsalan Haider Bukhari, Lieutenant Colonel Shafqat Taimur Satti, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Anjum, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Wahid, Lieutenant Colonel Noor Javed Khan, Lieutenant Colonel Asif Jameel, Lieutenant Colonel Jahanzeb Abbas, Major Syed Muhammad Mehdi, Major Iftikhar Hussain, Major Syed Muhammad Ali, Major Sana Ullah Siddiq Khan Tanoly, Major Pervez Ashraf, Major Mazhar Mahmood, Major Shahid Aziz Malik, Major Mian Muhammad Farooq.
The Tamga-i-Basalat was given to the relatives of the Shuhads, whio scarified their life for the sovereignty, integrity and solidarity of the motherland.
